My Weekly Favorite List...

Wow, this week is filled with some tried and true favorites. While they may seem a little random, stick with me and I will show you how they will quickly become game changers for your life too. The spring season is rapidly approaching and I think these favorites are going to fit perfectly in your spring season! Let me know what you think! I love being your Realtor with the resources!

1.)The Dash Egg Cooker

I'm not usually one for random gadgets, especially cooking gadgets but this is a kitchen must have! This quick little egg cooker can boil eggs in about 7 minutes but it also has the ability to poach or scramble as well. I'll be honest and say that I've only used the boil feature but with Easter rapidly approaching, just imagine how many eggs you could decorate! I know, boiling eggs isn't that hard on the cook top, but this has been the absolute best addition to my kitchen EVER and I simply can't go back. I have the six egg cooker, but I certainly would suggest the 12 egg cooker as well. Even though I am definitely not a cook, this sweet egg cooker will certainly be a favorite for the chef out there as well. Just an FYI, this makes a great dorm room addition as well!

2.) Folex Spot Cleaner

I have visited a lot of homes over the last few weeks now that the spring listing season is heating up! The one thing that I can say for sure is that there are quite a few homes in need of a good carpet cleaner! Those spots scream out distraction to a buyer and right away the dollar signs start to add up for new carpet. Please do yourself a favor and get a good spot cleaner. This one is perfect for upholstery as well; but I must remind you it's quite addicting to walk around making things look new again. Make sure to try a tester spot before you proceed, so far I have excellent luck.  With over 5,000 reviews on Amazon and listed as a customer best seller; it's worth a try.

3.) Joe Fish

Located a 510 River Hwy in Mooresville, tucked away in a nondescript shopping center is the home to some of the best New England Seafood that I have ever had. I was actually a bit hesitant to share my favorite local spot just in case it gets too busy for me to get a table. (Actually that is already the case, but I'll gladly wait) The wait staff is incredibly friendly, and you'll likely see the same faces there week after week. The one thing you won't find is a fancy stuffy atmosphere! This is just a nice casual restaurant where you can expect consistently great seafood time after time. So what are my favorites? Well the husband gets the grilled salmon every week, but I usually go for the most delicious crab cakes with a side of lobster mashed potatoes. I'll look forward to seeing you this weekend, as I know that I will be there! Make sure to check out the weekly dinner and lunch specials.

4) Lake Norman State Park

The best part about living near the lake is that everyone can have access to it's beauty! Lake Norman State Park is that place where you can truly enjoy "Lake Life" without a waterfront home. Hiking, biking, fishing, camping! It's all available here for you to enjoy, and just a short drive North from Mooresville, NC. As a family, we love to head out for a Sunday morning hike around the lake loop. There are several trails to choose from at every fitness level. The 30.5 miles of biking trails are a favorite spot too, it's just that I am not quite that adventurous. You'll likely spot some wildlife as you meander through the trails and several variety of plant species, but the best part is if you can make it there to watch the sunset! Check out the stargazing events that they have regularly at the park! The weather is finally perfect to enjoy a nice long hike or simply find a quiet spot for a picnic. Some of my favorite days have been spent beside the lake, hanging in a hammock and reading a book. Let me know what you think of the park as well. "Lake Life" has it's benefits!
